Welcome to Teaching and Learning TODAY. We hope your school year is off to a great start and only continues to get better as the year progresses! Our goal is to provide high-quality professional learning for all educators – teachers, counselors, education support professionals, administrators, and other stakeholders – to increase the chances of you having the best year yet. Teaching and Learning has many opportunities for growth to offer, but we also invite you to be a part of the change that needs to happen. Monitor this newsletter regularly and respond to those areas that interest you. We facilitate the development of professional learning by members, for members. Allow us to assist you to learn, grow professionally, and impact others!
As we wind down the first six months of a 3-year grant, we are excited to report progress in the areas of National Board support, our learning portal and workshops, and the initial plans for mentor programs. This is only the beginning of reimagining and rebuilding the value of VEA membership! Stay tuned each month to this newsletter for updates on opportunities.
