The 2022 General Assembly is underway as Delegate Todd Gilbert (R) officially took his position as Speaker of the House.  Just in case you missed it…

And followed by the swearing-in of the Speaker, delegates enjoyed the same induction into the Virginia House of Delegates.

Ok, moving on.  Next, the House could not pass up the opportunity to raise the question of lax rules over COVID mitigation measures.

And then we get to the final State of the Union Address from Governor Ralph Northam.  I believe this is a worthwhile speech to watch.
